AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 6 — Sheshunoff Consulting + Solutions, a leader in consulting services and proprietary technology solutions for the banking industry, today announced that Dr. Edmond Seifried has joined the company as Executive Director of Sheshunoff Affiliation Programs.
For nearly 30 years, Dr. Seifried served as Professor of Economics and Business at Lafayette College in Easton, Penn. He is also the dean of the Virginia and West Virginia Banking Schools, and is a faculty member at Stonier Graduate School and The Academy of Professional Banking at Sheshunoff. Additionally, Dr. Seifried is the Chief Economist for m.rae resources Inc., a community bank investment firm.
Dr. Seifried has delivered more than 2,000 presentations to audiences in the U.S. and abroad, written numerous articles published in banking, academic and industry journals, and co-authored “The Art of Strategic Planning” and “The Art of Risk in Community Banks.” Dr. Seifried has also traveled extensively in the former Soviet Bloc countries, serving as an advisor and consultant to newly privatized commercial banks.

Specifically, Dr. Seifried will serve as a consultant to the Sheshunoff Affiliation Programs and to the Sheshunoff Academy of Professional Banking. He will participate in the programs, interacting with bankers about their specific challenges and everyday obstacles. Dr. Seifried will provide input to the strategic planning process and marketing for the SCS Affiliation Programs and Banking Academy.

Now, I’ll have an expanded role as part of a team that works on developing the all-important content of each program.
