Now is NOT the time to maintain the status quo in the collections department if your financial institution is focusing solely on the delinquency report to identify troubled customers, you are ready for an upgrade! Every customer who has his loan charged off made a final payment at some time. The problem is that you didn’t realize it was the last payment when it was made. If you are able to identify and communicate with a troubled customer before he decides to abandon your institution, you are in the best position to maintain a functional relationship with that customer.

Join our expert David Reed to examine innovative techniques for fostering an effective collections program and for maximizing collections efficiency and the role of customer service. The session covers:

  • Appreciating the difference between being in trouble and being delinquent.
  • Collections as a customer service.
  • Mapping out key delinquent customer contact points.
  • Early identification of economically troubled customers.
  • Educating all staff on the collections function.
  • Cross selling in a collections environment.
