Given the current economic downturn, collections management is increasingly becoming more relevant to the financial health of institutions. Now is an opportune time to look at your collections program to ensure the processes you have in place are effective and you are showing results. Remember that managing the collections function puts you at the cross roads of member services and back office operations requiring that you be aware of all the risks and opportunities that present themselves. Is your collections department ready to help both the customer and the institution weather the storm? From dealing with staff to delinquent customers to attorneys to senior management, the collections manager’s job is now more difficult and complex than it was when collections was viewed as just about the institution’s delinquency ratio.
Join Financial Institution Collections expert David Reed to examine innovative techniques you can use to run a successful collections program with measurable results.
This session will cover:
- Maximizing your bottom line
- Identifying liability landmines
- Creating effective staff incentives
- Working with senior management
- Tracking effort and results
- Utilizing the entire staff for collections
