CRE Portfolio Stress testing has evolved from the earlier simple spreadsheet-driven extension of individual loan underwriting stress testing. Today, it is a more formal, aggregate process of applying various basic market and valuation models to appropriate CRE portfolio concentration segments.
This webinar will give you a better understanding of how stress testing your CRE portfolio actually works and how to use the different models that have become best practices in the industry. The session focuses on complex models and methods, and covers:
- Models for the stressing of: appraisal values, interest rates, income, cap rates, debt service and vacancy change.
- Review of each model for its credit value, applicability to CRE Loan types, required portfolio data, impact on a sample portfolio and what the results mean.
