The Credit CARD Act changed a lot of things in the credit card industry, but many bankers don’t realize how many rules and requirements changed for non-credit card products as well, such as home equity lines of credit and overdraft lines. And as time has passed, the rules have changed even more, as the Federal Reserve continues to tweak, revise and clarify the Credit CARD Act provisions within Regulation Z.

In this bank compliance training session, Bridget Phillips will explore:

  • Changes to the account opening disclosures and the clarifications that go into effect on October 1, 2011
  • Periodic statements and new timing requirements
  • New change in terms requirements for open end lines of credit
  • Tricky and sometimes unforeseen issues that arise with the new requirements
