Sheshunoff & Co. Investment Banking, a leader in merger and acquisition and advisory services to financial institutions, announced the completion of the acquisition of Valley State Investments and Valley State Bank of Lamar, Colorado by GN Bankshares, Inc. the holding company for Girard National Bank, Girard, Kansas. Sheshunoff & Co. initiated the transaction and served as the exclusive advisor to Valley State Investments Inc.’s Board of Directors.

Valley State Investments Inc. will receive $18.6 million cash, which is 1.64x book, 2.04×7% tangible book, 14.1x last twelve month’s earnings.
