Ms. Wachsmuth is the leader of the Sheshunoff Risk Management Division, responsible for the delivery of all professional compliance and internal audit services. Deanna has over 25 years’ experience in a variety of senior management positions. She joined the former Harcourt Group of New England, Ltd. as a Principal in 1999, assuming the position of Regional Director in 2007. Prior to joining Harcourt, she served as an executive officer of a multi-state federal savings bank owned by Sun Life of Canada, U.S, and has extensive experience in Information Technology Auditing, Risk Assessment, Third-Party Risk Management, ERM, Information Security, and GLBA compliance, FDICIA and SOX, systems conversions, merger and acquisition consolidation, and project management. She is a regular contributor to the Sheshunoff Affiliation Webinar series, as well as a speaker at national ABA and regional banking conferences.
Deanna is a summa cum laude graduate of Colby-Sawyer College, and her educational background also includes Wellesley College and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and has a B.A. in Psychology. Deanna is a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, ISACA New England, and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
